Vashti A. Summervill
Founder / Artistic
Director
Vashti holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music
and a Master's of Music/Vocal Performance. She has an extensive performance
as well as teaching background. Her regional theatre credits include
Seattle's Fifth Avenue Theatre, Seattle Civic Light Opera, Bumbershoot,
Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Bigfork Summer Playhouse and Operafest! at
Great Woods Music Festival in Norton, MA. She has taught voice out
of her private voice studio for several years as well as contracted
with several organizations to create and direct children's performing
arts programs. |

Jon Swarthout Choreographer
Born in Boise, Idaho where he,
at age 13 developed a passion for theater. He acted and starred in
many local shows as well as produced and directed his first show at
age 13. He discovered dance at age 15 and got a full scholarship to
study at the Houston Ballet Academy. He then danced professionally
with the Joffrey Ballet, Feld Ballets/ NY and Oregon Ballet Theater.
In 1996 he returned home to Idaho and began teaching. He was the director
of educational outreach for the Idaho Dance Theater, launching an
interactive school program for local elementary schools. In 1999 he
founded "Dance Rascals", an outreach and enrichment program
designed to teach kids everywhere the love and appreciation for the
art of dance. He is currently the Artistic Director and the program
is growing like crazy, currently reaching over 3000 kids yearly. He
is also the choreographer for Open Door Children's Theater, creating

Chad Summervill Artistic
Consultant/ Performer Chad
holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Vocal Performance and Masters
of Business Administration. He has been
performing in professional theatre since 1991 in Boston, Denver, San
Antonio, Ashland, and Seattle. Chad has recorded several CDs and enjoys
writing and performing original acoustic music. You may learn more
